Storage of laboratory research materials

← Research Library

Use the material-specific supplier documentation and your laboratory’s validated procedures. There is no universal shelf life or storage condition for every peptide: sequence, formulation, physical state and exposure history can affect stability. A general website statement is not a stability study for a particular batch.

  • Record receipt date, product presentation, identifying labels and the applicable handling instructions.
  • Control moisture and contamination according to laboratory procedures; document deviations.
  • Record temperature history and repeated changes in storage conditions when relevant.
  • Keep aliquot and sample records linked to the original material and its analytical documentation.
  • If instructions are missing or the material changes appearance, seek clarification before using it in an experiment.

This guide does not provide preparation, administration or dosing instructions for human or veterinary use.
